The faculty the conference and workshops comprised 7 experts from overseas and 28 from with in India.

Over 220 delegates attended the conference and 90 parents and professionals participated in the workshops. Delegates, to the conference, came from across the country and are involved in the care and co-ordination of services and support for children with special needs and their families. These individuals included regular and special educators, program directors, early interventionists, child care providers, administrators, psychologists, social workers, physicians, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, audiologists, behaviour specialists, students and others interested in the field of mental retardation. There were two delegates from overseas, one from the U K and another from France.

The faculty and the delegates appreciated the overall content and quality of the presentations and of the pre-conference workshops.
